Every fundraiser is different and that
goes the same for your Awards Ceremony. The more awards you hand out, the longer it will take. Think about timing and scheduling when
you decide how you will distribute awards, medals and goodie bags.
Awards can be based on dollars raised,
laps completed or race times. Since
it is a fundraiser, most groups will recognize participants that exceed their
fundraising goals.
When announcing awards and closing your
event, a public address system or bullhorn will help your announcements be
heard over the crowd noise.
Thank all the participants; you may
want to list the names of everyone who made their goal. Recognize top achievers. Share with the group the overall success
of your event.
